Why I Continue My Study to University Level?

Assalamu’alaikum Wr.Wb.

Introduce my name is Isma Dewi. This is writing and my first blog. I'm from the Regency of Mempawah, West Kalimantan. Now, I am settled in Pontianak, West Kalimantan to continue my study. I was one of the students at the University of Tanjungpura. Which I will discuss in this article is why I continue my study to the University level? And why I did choose economics education?. Here is the reason. 

The reason why I continue ny study to the University level.

The reason why I continue my study to  University level because of a thing.
Here's the story, at first I did not want to continue their study to University, I used to think of the waste of time to lecture, the better I work. Because if I go straight from work, then I will directly generate money.

However, as time went on, I began to think if I only have a high school diploma, the future of the profession and what kind of work will I get? From where began to appear little my desire to continue study to University. But, I don’t expect too much to be able to college. Because I came from the less able to. That time, when I say my intentions to continue their study to university to my parents, they say. " Instead of mother and father do not want to support the desire of you, but how can continue their study to University? while the mother and father have no money and only a mediocre income. You can continue study to University. But, the mother say from the beginning, mother and father did not have money “. Since it was my desire to go to college not so great it could even be said only very little hope for my continuing study into the University.

Until one day, my friend told me that there is a scholarship for children who want to continue their study into college, but do not have the cost and come from families that are less capable, namely the scholarship Bidikmisi. Well, that's when start to grow again my desire to continue their stud to University. At that moment I follow the selection of Universities such as SNMPTN. However, I did not pass. I began to despair, but my friend still gave the support to me. A friend invited me to participate in the selection of the next PMDK, and again I did not pass. My expectations were already not there anymore. But my friend still gave the support to me. And he said that I should follow the selection one more time. I followed his advice , although I have no confidence would pass. Because of the selection that I follow are written tests, not selection as previous selection via online. And finally I follow the selection SBMPTN. When I answering the question of such tests, honest just a little bit of course I believe are true. I think I will not pass the test. according to my expectations and the percentage to pass only 0.9%.

Until came the day of the announcement of graduation results SBMPTN. A lot of friends who are smarter than me did not pass the selection. And I began to pessimistic. "Smarter than my course did not pass, how about I only had a brain mediocre?" I said. Because I curious, I also see the results of my test. And it turns out I passed the entrance to the University of Tanjungpura in the study program of economic education. And I also entered in the list of student receiving scholarships Bidikmisi. So the entire cost of tuition covered by the government.

Alhamdulillah, hehe.

Why did I choose economics education?

Me choose econimics education because without I realize that education economic it is a majors leading to the profession a teacher. Actually, I have the desire to work in economic sector like employees bank, the clerks of the company and others. But, over time we started fond of study program I chose this. Because of the study program of education economy is not only can make us as a teacher but later in the degree I can also be work in companies or work in the field of other.
Hopefully with I continue study to University I will be getting a good job. As well can boast and happiness of my family.
